Approximately 65% of our majors go on to graduate or health professional schools. The remainder choose to enter the workforce directly. Our graduates have gone on to work for the following companies, right after graduation:

HWS graduates have gone on to pursue medical, dental, veterinary and other pre-health degrees from top-ranked graduate schools and professional programs. Other students have entered graduate programs in chemistry, biochemistry and engineering.

"I’m going to get a PhD in haematology from Cambridge University, England, as a Marshall Scholar. My project continues my Salisbury summer research looking at the genetic basis for infant leukemia. After that, I’ll see where the world takes me, but eventually I will be a biomedical researcher."
