Named for the first president of the combined Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the Stewardson Society immortalizes Reverend Langdon Stewardson's dedication in bringing Hobart and William Smith Colleges together. The Stewardson Society itself brings together members of the senior classes to present a gift to the Colleges in honor of their impending graduation. This tradition unites the seniors with the alums who have preceded them and supported their experience and connects them to the current students who follow.
To become a member of the Stewardson Society, seniors of the classes of 2016 will make a minimum gift of $20.16. This amount will qualify the donor for invites to special events during their senior year.
A gift of $50 will earn seniors special recognition at the leadership level, the Emerson Society, and qualifies the donor for invitations to special events and communications.
