Online Course Evaluations Using Evaluation Kit

Course evaluations become available during the last week of classes each semester through Reading Days. For the Spring 2018 semester, this period begins on Wednesday, April 25, and continues through Friday, May 4, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Faculty will not have access to the evaluations until after all final grades have been submitted to the Registrar’s Office. Student submissions are anonymous; faculty and staff at the Colleges are not able to tell what responses a specific student has submitted.

Completing the Evaluation

EvaluationKIT is a service that the Colleges use for online course evaluations. To complete your evaluations, using a computer or mobile device (such as a smartphone) click on the following link which is also listed under "Quick Links" as "Course Evaluations":

Please enter your HWS username and password. Once you have submitted your responses, you will receive a confirmation certificate for each course evaluation via e-mail.

NOTE: Expect only one evaluation per course. Online course evaluations will NOT be conducted for Reader's Colleges, PEC classes, PER classes, music lessons, internships, teacher education practica, writing colleague placements, and some language/science labs, independent studies and honors courses. Online course evaluations will also NOT be conducted for courses with less than two enrollments.

Having Trouble Connecting?

As there are campus locations where signals for cellular providers may be weaker, we do not recommend that you rely exclusively upon cellular signals to complete the evaluations. Instead, connect to the HWS Private (not the Public network) wireless network, using the "Wireless Access" instructions at this page.
