In an effort to locate grant opportunities, the Grants Office subscribes to the following:
FoundationSearch: The FoundationSearch is an on-line resource available to grants office staff that includes information on more than 120,000 foundations. With the ability to search by type, value, year, recipient, donor, and historical trends, this database is an excellent resource to help us efficiently identify, attract, and manage funding opportunities. The Grants Office also subscribes to BIG on-line which is a comprehensive searchable database containing information on over 25,000 foundations, corporate donors, matching gift programs, in kind donations, and government funders. For more information, please contact the Office of Grants.
The Grant Advisor Plus: This on-line information service allows anyone with an account on the Colleges' network to search for grant, research, and fellowship opportunities for U.S. institutions of higher education and their faculty. With extra features such as a monthly newsletter in Acrobat PDF format, database searches, and deadline listings with extensive hyperlinks, this subscription offers important information for external funding through a user-friendly web interface. The Grants Office staff schedule regular trainings to use The Grant Advisor Plus, and are happy to provide individual guidance.
