The Office Coordinator works to coordinate logistics and preparation for the POAP program. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining an Excel document with trip information; managing medical paperwork; working with professional staff to match guides and students with trips; monitoring and maintaining Twitter and Facebook pages; preparing and distributing emails and physical mailings; preparing medical kits prior to trips; planning the Guide Traning Itinerary with the Field Coordinator; acting as 2nd-in-command for guide training week. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Special Skills Needed:

Must have high degree of professionalism and maturity and be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required. Must also be proficient with Microsoft Excel and using social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
