Wednesdays, 6 p.m.
Chaplain's Residence
Students and faculty gather for conversation, fellowship and a simple, home-cooked meal (spaghetti, salad and cookies). The evening format is simple: prayers of thanksgiving, prayers for others, prayers for ourselves; eating supper; and usually a brief reading or discussion along with dessert. Cooking starts at 5:30 p.m., and volunteers are always welcome. Please e-mail chapel@hws.edu or call ext. 3671 for more information.
Thursdays at 4 p.m., students are welcome to join Chaplain Lesley Adams and Hillel Program Professional Lorinda Weinstock to work on knitting, crocheting, embroidery or other handwork projects as we talk over what is going on in our lives. Learn to knit or crochet, help out with service work projects or talk about your week’s events at the Chaplain's residence. In the past, Close Knit has also attended the Finger Lakes Fiber and Arts Festival and participated in Knit-Out and Crochet America Day.
