

La Masion Francophone will improve the community and campus
awareness of the French Francophone Cultures and Language, create an
environment that fosters inter-cultural dialogue and provide a
community that supports French language learners.
This house will create a free speech forum on political issues that involve the Francophone world as well. Also this house will be a centralized area for French Department TAs and labs along with other departmental programs and activities.
Finally this house will offer support for students preparing to go the study abroad program in France and/or in Senegal, as well as helping returning students as they must adapt again to an American campus.
The building is home to 10 students, who have access to a living room and full kitchen. Each room is equipped with full telephone, cable and Internet access. Laundry facilities can be accessed in Jackson-Potter-Rees (JPR).
An applicant is required to be a committed student who has a strong interest in French and Francophone cultures. This may include previous French language studies and/or any previous academic experience in French and/or Francophone culture.

Bed style: Standard twin. Students over 6'3" may
request extra long beds.
