New Student Welcome
A warm welcome to our incoming students and their families from the Student Accounts Office! Our department provides billing and payment support to students and families. We are located in the Admissions Building which is located at 629 South Main Street, and Student Accounts resides side by side with the Financial Aid Offices. We have an open door policy, so feel free to stop by to ask your questions.
Through our partnership with Nelnet Campus Commerce, our billing and payment system is entirely automated. Students access the Nelnet system through their Peoplesoft Student Center. The Nelnet site contains all electronic bills and real time transaction details, as well as links for electronic payment options, and monthly payment plans are available for sign up. Account set up is easy and must only be done one time during your time at HWS. During account set up, students should grant their parents and/or bill payers authorized party access. This will enable both students and their authorized parties to receive emails alerting them to e-bill issuance and payment due dates, as well as full access to review real-time transactions, make online payments, or set up a payment plan.
Students should perform their account sign up in June, as fall term billing is scheduled for July 1 with full payment due date of August 1 (unless signed up for a fall term payment plan for the balance). Spring term billing takes place for December 1 with an early January full payment due date (unless signed up for a spring term payment plan for the balance).
