One of the most visible spaces on Boswell Field, the gatehouse will welcome spectators and fans on their way to games, practices and other events in the stadium. This “front door” to the stadium will be completely renovated, refreshing the facility’s façade and complementing the stadium’s press box with a matching roof and elegant brick exterior. A permanent ticket booth and modern lavatories will offer visitors first-class amenities.

VIP seating will welcome donors and special guests, and provide dedicated space for the president. Additional working space for up to six cameras will allow television crews and athletic teams to film games.

Visible from Routes 5 & 20 and from any seat in the stadium, the berm will convey to passers-by, opposing teams and spectators alike the pride that Hobart and William Smith have in their institution. The prospect to name this unique space is a first-of-its-kind opportunity at the Colleges.
