The Gluten Free Support Group is a club that allows students who are gluten free (or not gluten free) to meet once a week to enjoy a home cooked meal that is guaranteed to be gluten free. The members of the club go out to do the shopping and prepare the meal themselves to ensure that the meal is gluten free. Anyone is allowed to come to our meetings! This club was just started last semester in the Spring of 2013, and we hope to meet new members as this new semester commences!
mission Statement:The Gluten Free Support Group was created to help those who must be gluten free have at least one meal a week that is guaranteed to be gluten free. It can be a challenge to find things in the various places across campus to eat since cross contamination can be an issue. Therefore the Gluten Free Support Group has come to provide a weekly home cooked meal for those who are gluten free. This club also has started to focus on finding ways to make HWS a more allergy aware campus.
Contact Olivia Woodruff, if you would like to receive further information about meeting times and upcoming events.
