Koshare aims to promote inclusiveness in the art of dance, while simultaneously promoting the appreciation of choreographing and performing by putting on a completely student-run dance show each fall semester.
The board of Koshare meets weekly for at least an hour throughout the entire fall semester in order to plan and carry out the three-day show that occurs the weekend before Thanksgiving break generally providing two night shows and one matinee.
The board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Merchandising Officer, Community Outreach Officer, Publicity Officer, and Media Officer.
Koshare is the most highly attended event on campus. The inclusiveness of the club guarantees that everyone will be in at least one dance, and no experience is necessary. Anyone can dance and anyone can choreograph you just have to bring your passion for dance to the stage!
Contact Karah Charette (President), Caroline Demeter (VP), if you would like to receive further information about meeting times and upcoming events.
