I give because HWS put the wind in my sails, enabling me to realize my ambitions. Additionally, a Herbert Lehman Scholarship supported graduate study at Columbia University and Cornell University. I became a professor, but also a Heron, supporting my two children, Christian and Kari, to develop strong soccer skills.
