“When I applied to the Colleges, I knew that HWS was the place for me; my experience delivered above and beyond my expectations, forging lifelong friendships, and helping me to uncover my voice and my path in life. While I knew with a high degree of confidence that HWS was the right school for me before I applied, it was financial aid that made my attendance possible. In my work, I see every day how donations drive impact at nonprofit organizations like Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and how powerful it is when beneficiaries go on to be people who can habitually support a place that helped them to get ahead. That's why I feel it is so important to stay engaged with HWS and to do my part in helping HWS continue preparing students to think critically, do good work and build a brighter future. As an alum, I am proud and inspired to read about the incredible accomplishments and talent of recent graduates, and to learn about all the great things they are doing with the tools and critical thinking skills they have honed along the shores of Lake Seneca.”
