“The Board felt that it was time to organize an event like this to bring students together, and offer a multitude of dance genres in classes that beginning and advanced dancers would enjoy,” says Tanina Urbanski ’17, co-president of Koshare.

The Collective’s goal is to bring students of different dance backgrounds in the Geneva community together and allow them to connect with other grade school and HWS students, she explains.

For both novices and experienced dancers, the Koshare Dance Collective gives newcomers the opportunity to explore dance and is a platform for experienced dancers to gain additional collegiate performance experience.  The Collective wants to give the same opportunity to students in the Geneva community.
