16 February 2018 • Alums Bauman '87 Named Executive VP of Greenough

With more than 20 years of marketing and public relations experience launching new technologies for major brands and emerging leaders, Greenough Brand Storytellers has promoted Scott Bauman ’87 to executive vice president and general manager. Bauman, now in his 13th year at Greenough, will oversee agency marketing, new business development and client satisfaction. Greenough is an award-winning messaging, media and marketing agency.

Bauman’s recent specialization in the healthcare and life sciences industries has enabled Greenough to secure clients in medical devices, diagnostics, precision medicine and value-based care. Prior to joining Greenough in 2005, Bauman was director of public relations and internal communications at Avid Technology and vice president at Weber Shandwick, where he designed and implemented brand-building campaigns for Fortune 500 companies.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Bauman received a master’s in public policy from the Muskie Institute at the University of Southern Maine. At the Colleges, he was a member of the soccer team and the Kappa Alpha Society.
