In the newly released 2018 edition of Forbes Americas Top Colleges list, HWS rose 10 spots from last year among liberal arts colleges, ranking 60th in the nation and, once again, numbering among institutions with the best return-on-investment.
The Americas Top Colleges list focuses on student outputs and is based on alum salary (20%), student debt (20%), student experience (20%), Forbes American Leaders List (15%), academic success (12.5%) and graduation rate (12.5%). Read the full methodology.
In the ranking, HWS also landed on the Top Colleges lists of best private colleges and best universities in the northeast.
Forbes 2018 Grateful Grads Index: Top 200 Best-Loved Colleges, bases its annual list of top ROI schools on median donations per seven-year period as well as average alum giving participation rates. Recognized for the fifth consecutive year, the Colleges are listed ahead of schools such as New York University, Dickinson, Tulane and Goucher.
These recognitions follow several other national accolades, including the CollegesNo. 1 ranking in the country for study abroad programs for the second year in a row, according to Princeton Review, as well as 7th in best student-rated professors.
