The William Smith College swimming and diving team has been named a Scholar All-America Team for its academic performance during the 2020 spring semester by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Herons were recognized for compiling a team grade point average of 3.91 during the spring semester.
The CSCAA awarded a record 789 programs from 461 schools with an overall GPA of 3.0. Teams were selected based on their spring GPA. The CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams recognize 17,982 student-athletes.
William Smith finished the 2019-20 season with a dual meet record of 7-1. The Herons finished ninth at the Liberty League Championship with 426 points.
