Maddie Hasbrouck '22 currently serves Special Olympics New York as the Associate Director of Health Programming. She also works at Albany Medical Center on the Pediatric Unit with the goal of obtaining 1000 patient care hours for a possible future in Physician Assistant school. Maddie graduated from HWS with a B.S. in Biology and a double-minor in Psychology and Child Advocacy. During her time on campus, Maddie worked as the Inaugural Senior Intern for the William Smith Dean's Office, a lifeguard for the William Smith Swim Team, and a Teaching Assistant for an Intro to Biology lab. Maddie was an active member of PLEN, the Laurel Society and participated in both the club and intramural soccer teams. She loved to spend her free time hanging out with friends on the beautiful waters of Seneca Lake! These days, you can find Maddie spending her free time at the gym, home with her family and friends, or participating in any and all outdoor activities in the Adirondacks!

Ren (they/them) graduated from HWS in 2018 and is currently in their second year of their master's in social work at Salem State University. Ren is working toward becoming a therapist for LGBTQIA2+ youth and loves hiking and backpacking! Their photo is of them completing the Long Trail, which is a long distance backpacking trail!

Kelly Craig '16

Kelly (she/her) is a Ph. D. Candidate in Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Utah, where she teaches courses like Contemporary Literature and Global and Transnational Literature. She also works as a College Access Advisor for the Utah College Advising Corps. Kelly writes fiction and creative non-fiction, and was recently published in the The Louisville Review (No. 90 Fall 2021). In her spare time, Kelly enjoys indoor bouldering, brewing her own kombucha, and learning to play the piano. She lives in Salt Lake City with her partner, Kevin, and their many tomato plants.
