Rosie K. Mauk
Rosie K. Mauk has over 30 years of experience in non-profit organizations and government agencies, during which time she has served as spokesperson, fundraiser, adviser and board member.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mauk was twice appointed to the Texas Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service by then-Governor George W. Bush, and served from 1995 to 2001. She served as director of AmeriCorps under President Bush from 2001-2006, offering leadership and direction to the federal agency, which assists more than 2,000 non-profits and supports 75,000 AmeriCorps members.
She currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the TREAT Foundation (Theurapeutic Research Education and Treatment Foundation) and Board Member of the Close Up Foundation. She is also Of Counsel with Dini Partners, a firm that provides counsel to non-profit organizations.
Mauk has received numerous awards, including the Governor’s Volunteer Leadership Award. She is a former Fort Worth Woman of the Year and a 1999 recipient of the Daily Point of Light Award.
