She encouraged attendees to become leaders in their communities.

Vincent hosted the event to offer students fun opportunities to build community.
- Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges is interviewed for WXXI’s “Connections with Evan Dawson” at the WEOS/WHWS radio station in the Scandling Campus Center on Thursday. While on campus, Hedges also visited Professor of Media and Society Linda Robertson’s class.
- On the Quad, Alexandra Ann Curtis ’20 waves a flag during a re-enactment of the central event in the Russian (Bolshevik) Revolution. Assistant Professor of Russian Christopher Lemelin organized the event to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the revolution.

- Geneva Scholarship Associates (GSA) President Sarah Heieck '97 welcomes HWS and Geneva community members to the annual GSA Casino Night event in the Vandervort Room. The event raises money to provide scholarships for Geneva High School graduates who attend HWS.
