- During Alternative Spring Break, students volunteer at Mariam Boyd Elementary in Norlina, N.C. HWS has volunteered at Mariam Boyd since 2002.
- Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship Craig Talmage and Associate Professor of Politics DeWayne Lucas lead an Alternative Spring Break trip to Puerto Rico, where they are volunteering with Community Collaborations International.
- Rafael Aguilar ’25, Jill Vanlare ’26 and Matthew High ’24 join high school students in Rural and Migrant Ministry’s youth empowerment program JOY on the steps of the New York State Capitol Building.
- Students volunteer alongside Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology Brian Clark during an Alternative Spring Break trip to Pocahontas State Park in Virgina.
- The HWS Debate team gathers for a photo while competing in the Novice National Tournament at Cornell University. Fairooj Suhita ’27 (front center) and Hudson Chou ’27 (front right) finished as finalists.
- Camila Garcia ’24 separates a mixture using liquid-liquid extraction in CHEM 240.
- At the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, students in “Paleontology” with Associate Professor of Geoscience David Kendrick receive a tour from Paleontologist Matt Lamanna ’97. Lamanna is the Mary R. Dawson Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology, and has directed numerous field expeditions resulting in the discovery of multiple new species of dinosaurs.
- During Spring Break, Antonia Georke ’27, Moira Van der Putt ’25, Senior Associate Director of Admissions Sue Willard '99 and Amina Assefaw ’26 visit Niagara Falls.
- The No. 2-ranked William Smith lacrosse team gets a workout in Bristol Field House.
- Tanner Hartman ’26 and Ignat Belov ’26 celebrate following Hartman’s goal in the national semifinals. The number 1 ranked Hobart will take on Trinity on March 23 at 7 p.m. for the national title.
- James Greene ’25 earns four assists during Hobart’s 20-9 victory over Le Moyne. The Statesmen host Syracuse University on Saturday.
