4 the culture performing arts collective
A new performing arts collective that fosters (and fuels) students' creative works in the performing arts. An evening filled with dance, performance, spoken word and poetry by individuals as well as student groups.
csa: Caribbean student association
The Caribbean Student Association's mission is to enlighten the HWS campus and Geneva community about the Caribbean by highlighting the history, culture and social issues surrounding the region.
isa: international student association
ISA provides a forum to create awareness about global issues, allowing international students to share their cultural traditions with other members of the Colleges as well as the greater Geneva community.
sankofa: The Black Student Union
The Black Student Union (Sankofa) is devoted to celebrating and honoring the achievements and life experiences of people of African descent. We are an ALL INCLUSIVE group and people of all backgrounds are welcome to attend our meetings.
SASA: South Asian Student Association
The South Asian Student Association aims to represent the South Asian community at HWS and to also raise awareness of issues affecting South Asian communities, as well as outreach through the planning and implementation of educational and social activities on campus.
hip-notiqs
Hip-NotiQ's mission is to promote multicultural awareness and school spirit through performance, including cultural club and social justice events, sporting events and community events. The team strives to collaborate with clubs on campus in order to promote community at the Colleges through sharing knowledge of step culture and history. It is also part of the Hip-NotiQ's mission to engage in service in the Geneva community.
LAO: Latin American Organization
The LAO is a club focused on Latin America while dedicated to diversity at HWS. LAO reaches out to both the Geneva community and HWS community with a variety of events that are educational and provide memorable experiences.
Women's Collective
Our goal is to raise awareness in the HWS campus and the greater Geneva community of women's issues, including domestic violence, sexual assault, reproductive rights, understanding gender and women's rights.
ASU: Asian Student Union
The Asian Student Union's purpose is to spread understanding, knowledge and acceptance of other cultures, specifically those of Asia, within the HWS community.
Pride Alliance
The Pride Alliance is a club that gives a voice to the LGBTQ students and their allies on campus. Every year we host events that are fun and informative and help educate the campus about LGBTQ rights.
Hillel
Hillel aims to bring the Jewish culture and religion to campus to welcome students and faculty, or to share traditions with anyone who is interested.
girl up
Girl Up organizes awareness, fundraising and advocacy activities in the HWS community to make sure that girls in developing countries are educated, healthy, safe, counted and positioned to be the next generation of leaders.
