GreekAccreditation
The accreditation program documents the accomplishments and activities of Hobart and William Smith fraternities and sorority. Minimum standards must be met by each organization to maintain recognition by the Colleges. Because the Colleges are interested in the total experience of men who affiliate with Greek-letter organizations, HWS conducts an annual evaluation based on the Five Pillars Model which includes, academics, service, philanthropy, Greek development and stewardship. This includes a review of chapter development plans (goals), an accreditation review and the Chapter President's Report to monitor the quality and nature of the Greek experience. The purpose of this process is to assess each organization's compliance with the mission of the Colleges and the Greek organizations they represent.
