Temporary Accommodation Request

  • Temporary medical conditions like injuries or post-surgery recovery aren't typically considered permanent disabilities, but HWS Disability Services can still offer temporary assistance to students dealing with such situations.
  • For temporary illness related questions, students can contact their dean.
  • If they have any questions, students can contact Disability Services at ctl@hws.edu.

Detailed Instructions

HWS students requesting temporary disability accommodations can follow the following steps:

  • If a student has never requested disability accommodations at HWS, they can submit an initial Accommodation Request Form (access here)
  • If a student has previously received disability accommodations at HWS, they must complete a Supplemental Request in Accommodate (instructions here).
  • After submission, students will receive email communication from Disability Services regarding their request.
